In the 1920s, Ernest Hemingwayâ??s colleagues bet him that he couldnâ??t write a complete story in just six words. They paid up when he wrote "For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn." This has always choked me up and Hemingway himself has been said to have considered it his best work. |
