My dear Creator God,

My heart is breaking for the families of the lost. The tremendous earthquake that destroyed so many buildings on the border of Syria and Turkey. I am asking You to help find the living under the rubble, comfort the living families.

Please help those digging with their hands, trying to find people alive. Please comfort the living and take the dead to yourself. Some would say it is ethnic cleansing. I think it is nature rebelling. Tectonics plates moving beneath the earth.

I pray you will give the living hope for their loved ones. And you, Almighty God, hold them in the palm of your hand. Answer the prayers of those searching and give strength to countries that have sent men to help these poor people dig. I thank you in anticipation of your loving intervention. If this be your will, we know all will be well. If it is the beginning of more destruction, be with those people.

Jesus fed the 5,000 with fish and bread; please feed these special people and may we thank you Father God.
