Your letter shows your compassionate nature. The earthquake has been a major natural disaster and can happen to any country that's within the ring of fire. I refuse to think of it as any kind of retribution as you so rightly point out. I like your plea to offer help and consolation to both the affected and those helping out. Both parties need strength and hope to carry on. I like how you implore God to "be with those people" should the situation worsen. I hope your prayers are answered as we need all prayers to help the affected people. Thank you!

Excellent! It is very sad what has happened over there. And, as has happened too many times in history, it is complicated by the politics in the region and difficult to simply send help without worry...it gives one a hopeless feeling not being able to do much in the wake of the tragic disaster.

We are so lucky to live at the bottom of the World.
I think the authorities will have to send living survivors to different countries. We are accepting 40,000 refugees soon. Not all from Ukraine, blessings, K xx

That's excellent! It's nice to know that this and the Ukrainians are supported all around the world!! Hopefully we have learned from the past and are doing likewise...however, with our political climate here in the States it is sadly unlikely to be what it should.
