In the Blackness Behind my Eyes

in the blackness behind my eyes
I am free to love you with ache, sweetness, and flame we sit by a lake, your shadow floats on the water swimming with the stars our bodies veiled with lightning and thunder as we watch the rain and the wild untethered sky being near you, I feel your breath beating my heart's drum I find rapture in the things we do in my quiet holy of holies place  |
