The Right Place

There is a place within my soul

I let the hurt and pain control

And  when  I'm there,I feel disgrace

I only want to leave that place



There is a place within my mind

Somewhere that's always been unkind

I don't see straight, and I can't think 

It pulls me down and makes me sink



How is it we often allow

More heartache in our life somehow

Those places that we should stay out

They're not what we are all about



The place that I most love to be

A place that cares and trustworthy 

Where you stay well  and treated fair

And nobody can hurt you there 



Maybe that place does not exist 

Oh yes it does, my bucket list 

It's Heaven bound, for me someday

'Till then, evil, out of my way
