Begin Her Birthday Again

Her pen~name is Begin Again but Carol is her name

As FanStory's top novelist, she shines with honored fame


She's dwelled in Illinois the whole time she has been alive

Now lives in country home her father built when she was five


Of what she holds most dear in life, there's nothing that outbids

Her five children, eight grandchildren, and then three great grandkids 


And it was the career choice that she always knew was right

Successful catering business that she would call, "Top Flight"


Then secretary for VP ~ Insurance Company

But now she is retired and that's the way she loves to be


When reconstructing house, alone she knocked out all the walls

They built a deck when Mike was ill,  she lovingly recalls


Then they could sit and watch the river that runs through her yard

A peaceful time for them, as the next part would be so hard 


One son and daughter gone, then grandson's tragic death would strike

Her parents, siblings passed, and love of her life, husband, Mike


Now she takes writing to a place where her joy never ends 

Her fav'rite place to go is FanStory to be with friends
