It is good advice not to enter a forest alone.

Forest Lore

by HarryT

By a campfire, an old man tells of forest lore
A tale of a terrible horror and bloody gore
There lurks a thing - part animal, part man
This creature an actural genuine boogieman

Short in stature but strong in might
A beast that roams the forest night
It has beady eyes that glint a reddish glow
If one encounters the beast, fear will flow

It is known to take pleasure in each morsel
Seems especially fond of the tender torso
Enjoyment it takes in chewing each bone
Warning: don't ever enter the forest alone
