Wren

all day warble-weaves

There is a really nice bird refuge about 80 miles to the north of where I live. I found out male marsh wrens (and other kinds of wrens) will often build several 'dummy' nests in the spring to attract a female, and she decides which of the half-finished nests she wants to finish herself. A blogger/photographer named Ron Dudley has more information on the process at https://www.featheredphotography.com/blog/2018/03/29/male-marsh-wren-building-one-of-his-dummy-nests/
