A chapter in the book Miscellaneous Poems

I Wish I Were a Freeverser

by CD Richards

Time. Relentless, marching onward, 'til

fleeting, each competing; muse

entreating, "Write them down!"

But I cannot, I'm

no hot shot— I

still need to

make it

rhyme.
