Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Shared happiness can build trust

Building Trust

by Jesse James Doty

Having trouble trusting,
from the day that I arrived,
I chanced upon pure happiness today.

When I shared a happy moment
with a person that I knew,
they helped me build trust
in one whom I'd suspiciously held at bay.

We found a common thread of understanding;
we laughed, and I confided with her, then.
Trusting, through experiences like this one,
makes me feel I found a brand new friend.

Who knows?
I might win and share a happy thought tomorrow!
