Yes, Jesus is the embodiment of Love. He is Love and He showed us love through His self-sacrifice to redeem us from sin and death. I never thought about counting the nails. I guess the only pictures I saw had only three...

What greater love than this that Jesus demonstrated upon thew cross. The poem proudly rings with spiritual love. A unique 2-2-7-7-2-2 format created a text cross. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.

    Thank you so much for your kind review. Actually, this was a TRINET which was a word, count poem. Two words, two words, six words, six words, two words, two words, two words, then centered on the page to look like a cross. I missed being able to enter it in the contest.

This is a very compact free verse poem examining the love of God. The poem echoing the shape of the cross is a lovely touch. The use of personal pronouns (me, my) adds character and closeness.

How true this is. He gave us the greatest love if all. I enjoyed this poem. Just think how this world would be so much better with more love. Great job
