Hi Patricia,

This is a great poem. Not being able to sleep is no good. Like you I often have trouble sleeping. I wonder if it comes from age. I use to remember my mother being up at all hour of the day and night. I now fully understand.

I've been dreaming a lot lately, and I've been waking up exhausted. I think i need to start reading again before bed. It helps settlement mind. This was a very timely poem. Gretchen

I have read that all of us dream every night. I never remember my dreams, but according to research I dream. LOL Thank you for sharing this poem with us.

I have had insomnia much of my life. Things work for a while, then I try something else. Melatonin helps, Having a thunderstorm on my TV because I love them helped. You can find all kinds of things to play for eight hours on a loop. Avoiding caffeine after 5 pm. I hope your sleep improves. Karen

I'm sorry you're not sleeping well, Patricia. Do you work on your computer before bed or watch TV? Doctors say that you should try turning off all screens at least an hour before bed. Don't look at computers, TV or even your phone. The light from the screen activates your brain and keeps you alert. hope it gets fixed for you soon.
