What an amazingly clear picture and such a pretty bird! How delightful that the female can choose her new abode from several half-created by the male and then put her own stamp on it. Your fine 4 line verse is a succinct portrayal of this mating procedure. And the whole package is a joy to see and read. Thank you so much and good luck! Debbie

This is a well written poem for the format and I enjoyed listening to it very much. It flow very well when it is rather loud. May you have a lovely evening and may your weekend be blessed. Patricia.

Information about the wrens you have in your notes is quite interesting. Your four-line poem is perfectly worded. I live "warble-weaves" and "lattice work of love." This is a shrewd wren. She wants what's best for the future family and is looking for the most promising among her suitors. Great entry for the four-line poem contest. Best of luck. PS: Looking forward to seeing another of your western scripts. judi

Crystie, This is a great four-line poem you have penned about the marsh wren. You used great descriptive words and an adorable picture if the little bird. When I look at little birds and their features it makes me think of our Great Big God that is so smart and these little birds He created. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Thank you for your super review. Yes, I think birds remind us that even the smallest creations get a lot more done than we do.

The birds and the creatures of this world are all instrumental of the world that God created, and unique in their way as we are in ours. God calls everything good that He has done, and indeed , we cannot argue with that, beautifully written Christie blessings Roy

I love all your bird poems. I guess that the "warble-weaves" is one word? Does it mean that the wren warbles all day while he weaves? I wasn't quite sure what to do with all the hyphenated words and whether lattice-work is one word or does it lead to "work of love"?
Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you for your kind review. I figure he is multi-tasking, hence the hyphens.
