There are some parallels we share. My daughter and I survived a horrendous crash when a sixteen year old girl reacted poorly to having her wheels hit the shoulder, swerved and ran ninety degrees into us as I tried to escape stage right away from her. I clipped her in a way that caused her car to flip and land on her roof. My door was jammed and my five year old was strapped safely in... until a flame dropped from near her oil pan, and ignited, I guess, a ruptured gas line. The girl never moved an inch. Likely unconscious or dead. As for us I couldn't get out until an elderly women ran to my door and with little effort pulled the door open just as the front of our car caught afire. We never knew who that woman was, and witnesses asked what woman? It wasn't our time to go.

I have had lots of surgeries. I have a couple of those stories. One was back surgery number two , I have had four. I was watching my surgery, like I was floating above my body passively watching. I could hear the doctors talking. They were talking about how messed up I was. I heard my grandma telling me it was not my time to leave yet. I had more to do. It feels as fresh now as then. I have told only a handful of people. It seems as spiritual as people say the are, most folks do not want to believe this.

This is a phenomenal story. You did an excellent job describing your friendship and activities with your friend. But the most striking aspect of this story is your near death experience in the tunnel before God sent you back. I believe you are back to tell this story. Praise God.
