I love butterfly's. This is a great ode to the beautiful butterfly. I love the way you painted the picture. Great imagery was used. The rhyming was also superb. I enjoyed this read.

What a charming poem this is, Helvi2. I love butterflies and you have described them beautifully in every stanza. I especially like this simile: Her fragile body like a breath
That flows upon a breeze. And this metaphor: Upon the wings of butterflies
Are gemstones caught adrift
Very nice! Rod

Comment from Tim Margetts
Helvi, this is a sweet, elegant piece with a gentle rhythm and clear affection for its subject.
The language is soft and sensory throughout-"a breath that flows upon a breeze" and "gemstones caught adrift" are particularly lovely. The consistent rhyme and meter give it a sing-song quality that fits the theme well, almost like a lullaby or a nature hymn.
There's something old-fashioned in the best way about the tone-it leans into wonder without irony, which feels refreshing. The imagery is accessible and appealing, and while butterflies are a well-trodden poetic subject, the execution here shows care and warmth.
If there's anything to tweak, it might be a slight overuse of adjectives like lovely, beautiful, charming-all accurate, but slightly repetitive across stanzas.
Swapping one or two for more unexpected descriptors could add freshness. Still, the joy in the writing is clear, and that's what carries the piece.
A charming, feel-good poem with clear visual grace.

Helvi, an obvious grand title, reenforcing picture, imagery laden theme and
affable tone melds with lyrical phrases to complete a captivating poetical write showcasing one of nature's eye-catching/attention getting "bugs"...
I love the lack of punctuation, it allows reader(s) to peruse at their on pace.
A well crafted ditty. teafor2

The vision of a butterfly told so delightfully. Your words flow together even more beautifully than the image I've tried to describe. Thank you for taking the time to review my poem.
