I like your poem! There is a message of hope that there is still a sliver that shines even though it's mostly overshadowed. Did you get to see the eclipse? It was a clear morning for us here to see it, and the moon and stars were beautiful. A wonderful way to start the day.

Now that is a very clever play on letters rather than words. Transpose two letters and a whole new meaning emerges from the new moon. A clever little line.
