Beautiful lune poetry for the contest. I love the alliteration and the imagery in this one. Still, a sliver shines suggests hope, possibilities, and dreams. Very well done.

The six stars mean a great deal, I?m very appreciative of the honour.

I like your poem! There is a message of hope that there is still a sliver that shines even though it's mostly overshadowed. Did you get to see the eclipse? It was a clear morning for us here to see it, and the moon and stars were beautiful. A wonderful way to start the day.
Thanks so much for sharing, and good luck in the contest.

Thank you Faith. A wonderful review, and I value your good wishes too. We looked and looked but here it was too cloudy. Disappointing. Will have to wait now till 2025!

This is one Luna-related poem for Lune contest :)
It is a thoughtful poem, which can be interpreted in many ways. Are you perphaps familiar with anime tv series: Sailor Moon? She would love your poem :)

Thank you for a super review. No, I don?t know that series so I?ll google it. ( I am Australian, so maybe we don?t have it here, but I don?t watch much tv.)

This is an excellent lune 5/3/5, and this a marvellous theme and a most apt one for this particular contest. The presentation is perfect, and the artwork likewise great, well done, blessings Roy

You have written this as a sad poem, but I find you are extremely optimistic to see a ray of hope still for our future. Between one thing and another I fear we have waned our way out of the picture totally. Kate xx

I hope there is still hope while there is still that sliver showing. Thank you for your thoughtful response.

Now that is a very clever play on letters rather than words. Transpose two letters and a whole new meaning emerges from the new moon. A clever little line.

Thank you very much. Super review. Yes, I liked that there was still a sliver of hope. I just hoped that the alliteration wasn?t overdone.

This is a lovely, very atmospheric poem that fulfills the requirements of a lune poem well. It is interesting that you have equated shadows with sadness and I like the constant use of 's' words here.
Good luck with it
