Debi,
Many times after I've read a writers post, I'll scan a few of the already posted reviews to see how reviewer viewed the post. I did not do it for this one.

This had to be difficult to write because to me it's something so personal in your life and about you.

I'm proud of you and the strength you found within to "kick the habit" for the betterment of your life and that of your family which I know you hold so dearly.

Other then a few aches and pains which come with my age, I am truly blessed with my health. But like I've told you in the past, I have my own story that I'm afraid to share here because of certain friendships and relationships developed. But being a slightly and I do mean slightly older sister you showed me not to be afraid because no matter what you would've written, it would not have changed the love I have for you. Matter of fact it strengthened the bond.

The world is a much better place today because of you. Again for what it's worth, I'm proud of you and proud to call you MY friend!

Love ya lots, sis.
John

Thanks so much, John. As they say, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." My faith was lower when I was on them because I was letting the pills rule my happiness, not Jesus.

I do live with a lot of pain, but I write and use mind over matter and I pray about it now instead of waiting for my next fix. It feels good to see the other side so it's not so easy to judge.

Like I've always said, I will always be here for you if you ever want to talk. There is more that I can't tell too, so don't feel like the only one. We all have some kind of skeleton in our closet, but I have no secrets from my family anymore. Thanks so much for the generous six stars too, dear bro.

Thanks for the very kind words, dear friend. Lotsa love, Debi

Praise God for giving you that freedom from the stronghold of that kind of addiction! You saved your family relationships and friendships! So proud of you to stay away from them even after those surgeries!!

Oh my goodness Debi, this has been quite a hellish journey for you and we think drugs are a miracle at first, but then they stop working and we need more and more to achieve the same affect. Withdrawing from pain medication is achievable, but difficult. I saw a program on British TV about a doctor helping people to get off paracetamol. Some people had been taking them for many years. He was successful.

The drugs you have been taking are much stronger and it must have been very hard to abstain. I truly think that you have achieved a miracle here and this experience has made you so much stronger. Thank you for sharing your story as this will help many other people who are going through this ordeal, love Dolly x x x

Thanks so very much, Dolly. I have never heard of paracetamol before.
It must not be here because I have checked into anything that I could take besides what I was on. I truly appreciate your encouraging words.

Thanks again for the very kind words, dear friend. Love, Debi
