Thank you for sharing more of your enjoyable memories. I'm sorry I ran out of sixes early in the week, before I had a chance to review your chapters this time!

It's great when you give us a rundown of current events, as they happened in your lifetime. I vaguely remember the Jim Jones tragedy, because I was in my own little world at college, at the time. I know more about it from historical accounts I've seen on TV in more recent times, but you remember quite a lot, and you summarized it quite well.

I didn't find too much errors, but here are my suggested revisions:

It must have been uncomfortable when Connie got so attached to Diane, the lady who was babysitting her in the daytime, but of course you were always her loving mother! It probably didn't have anything to do with your age, but just the fact that she was with her in the afternoons. I'm glad she came through with that group of kids for her birthday party, or else Connie would have had a lot more to be upset about, besides losing a little game. I'm glad everything worked out for Carol's dog, Bimbo, who found a good home in the end.

Thank you, my friend. No problem about the sixes. You are so helpful and I enjoy your comments. I knew Connie loved me and she was a little spoiled by having so much attention from others when she was young. She was my hardest child to raise but no she is the most loving. Thanks again for all the help.

I do remember the Jonestown tragedy and was horrified at the outcome. People who do not think and follow blindly are most pitied.

This is a wonderful way for your story to be told to your children. It does allow them to see you through another lens. We have a tendency to think of our parents as otherworldly. A fine story and full of real life. Sending you my best today as always and blessings,

Thank you for putting all this into historical perspective. Jonestown was such a nightmare. When I was in Berkeley, people of the cult were giving out pamphlets next to us who were giving out literature for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Scary to think of!

Thanks for sharing about the birthdays for the kids. I would imagine it was hard for the twins to be apart.

"you drank the cool aid." (Kool-aid)

Lots of family fun and frolic and growing up in these years as the young family moves along in their lives - a wonderful sense of immediacy in the narration of the events

I just love this series! Where did Bimbo do his business? I shudder to contemplate.

...community [comma] which was called Jonestown; you've drank the cool aid s/b you drank or you've drunk the Kool-Aid; gone to her neighbor's s/b neighbors' (houses) and brought all those kids.

That story of Connie going out and recruiting some kids to come to her party, revealed she didn't have a sense of rejection, so you did a good job building self image into her. It reminds of the biblical story of going into the highways and byways inviting people to the.feast, love your biography, Beth, well done blessings Roy
Typo : I have a feeling (being) that being. 2 She didn't seem to mind (called) you dad. Calling

Thank you for the review and great comment. Actually it was my neighbor, Diane who found the children for her party. Connie didn't seem to feel rejected however. She's always had a good self image. Thank you for seeing the spags.

Dear Beth, in this chapter of your story you're not only write of family activities, but also the kindness of neighbors, and events in the world that you're descendants may never believe. (Here I refer to the story of Jim Jones and his cult of fanatic followers.) This story will be a good cautionary tale for your great grand children, so that they may not become victims of similar situations.

Thank you for the review and comments. I know you are unhappy with the outcome. but if you believef all the preachers that assured us that God had revealed to them personally that Trump would win the election, it seems some of them might have been drinking the Kool Aid. God doesn't lie.

I told the world, he would elected in 16 because of a vision that was give in 1978 to Burt
reply by Ben Colder on 07-Nov-2020
i SAID HE WOULD BE ELECTED IN 2016. GOD HAS NOT TOLD ME OR ANYONE THAT i KNOW OF HE WOULD BE REELECTED. Many people I know are refusing to live under socialism and are leaving, some to Israel. .
reply by the author on 07-Nov-2020
Who is Burt? Did you believe he would be elected this time? It may not be over. He may refuse to leave, and he has some thugs that will start a war to keep him there.

Pastor of Assembly Of God Beaumont Texas. I have nothing from the Lord on it but it does not matter, He may have revealed it to others. I do not sell God short
reply by Ben Colder on 07-Nov-2020
We just need to pray God's will. I do not see God selling us out now. Israel would lose the best friend she has.
