This chapter was interesting, Gretchen. It was great to see
Miranda's mom was really on her side all along. Also, Miranda
loved her even if she didn't always show it. That Missy is one
crazy individual. Rita did her best to diffuse the situation, but
Missy saw through her. She knew Miranda was hanging around
whether she could see her or not. DWilcox's appearance was
a great unexpected twist. Waylon must've filled him in on the
goings on.

This chapter was interesting, Gretchen. It was great to see

What did Missy want and why is Dougie back in town. Neither of these can be good. Thank you for sharing. I like this story.

Sensible mother, insightful, but allowing her daughter to learn to stand on her own two feet. Missy: trouble personified, and quite callous. And now Dougie is back. Not good , hope she stands up to him and gives him the flick permanently. Maybe he's just come to ask her to look after Waylon permanently? Don't think so, somehow. Good writing. Interesting, realistic, strong, clear in the development of theme and characters, and always suspenseful.

This Murder mystery with Miranda and Brad was wrll written rich in theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures Aligned Perfectly.

A good scene with her mama which went far to suggest to the reader how Miranda grew up the way she did by having a mother who refused to fight her battles for her. Yet she, her mama, was concerned ... which was shown by her listening outside Miranda's bedroom door to hear how Missie manipulated her. Sure, she spied, but she didn't use the information then to step in and protect her daughter. Truly, Miranda is a free-thinking, caring person today because of her Mama!

Dougie is a terribly self centered person. Is he back to make up with Miranda, or to grab Waylon. I think Miranda would be so depressed if she lost Waylon. Who knows. I sure don't. Thank you so much for the sixes. I've been working on a lyric, not quite ready but getting there. Gretchen
