Wow, Missy's only a step away from admitting that she's a murderer without saying who or when. But she's making it clear that Miranda shouldn't be too complacent. I'm wondering if she could have made her loan to Dougie conditonal on his putting the picture on Miranda's window. I'm sure well find out soon enough!

I'm thinking she put some strings on the loan as well. And yes, she is chomping at the bit to tell Miranda something. Now we wait. Lol. Gretchen

Missy is creepy, and yes, probably a psychopath. A pity no one else heard her say those threatening words. Love your story. Well written, full of action and insight, realistic dialogue.

Missy is careful. She seems to be chomping at the bit to spill the tea to Miranda. But as the saying goes, if I tell you then I have to kill you. Thanks for the wonderful review. Gretchen

And, dammit I'M dying for her to tell Miranda about it, too!!!! But the woman responsible for these characters' actions just wants to play with me and play with me and play with me because she KNOWS I love this story, and I'll keep reading every chapter she writes, the bitch!

Things like "It's enough to make the devil himself wet his pants" keep me coming back. They're unique and hilarious...just like Miranda, herself. Coolest. Girl. Ever.

Edgy progress, Gretchen. I want it to move forward...and yet, I'm afraid for it to move forward. You're continuing to do great things with this book!

I've seen a smile that would make the Devil wet himself. Scariest thing I've ever seen. There is no soul to be found in Missy. Thanks again for another refreshing and fun review. It's starting to come to a head. I promise. Lol. Gretchen

I hope Miranda keeps a look out for herself from that evil Missy.
I believe Missy is 'setting things up.' Then if and when she decides
to do something to Miranda, it will look like a stalker or ???? Missy
must've been the one to tape that picture on the window. She's
'playing' Miranda. I wonder if there's something in her (Missy's) background after the time they both left high school--like time
spent in a psych hospital. I believe she knows Miranda will find the
evidence she needs against her to prove she killed her husband and
maybe even Ed. She was trying to get Miranda arrested or worse.

I believe Aaron will get over his hurt. When they get approved to go
with the police to the pond, maybe it will all come out that Missy is
a criminal. She probably knows about the pond, and is setting up some
trouble there, too. Your story was well thought out and interesting.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Thank you. I think Missy is getting amped up for something. She sees Miranda as a focal point of her oddly obsessive attention. This was a great and thorough review. I really appreciate it. Gretchen

Oh my! I believe Missy taped that picture to the window. Not only do I believe it, I know it. I sure hope Mitch is going to be able to make sure Missy it caught, and Miranda is safe. I bet there are two body in that lake. Aaron's relative and Missy's husband.

Missy is too smart to do stuff when there are witnesses. Hopefully, Miranda is smarter. Thank you for this insightful review. Gretchen

I would be worried about Missy. I bet she put that flyer on Miranda's window. Too bad there were no witnesses to this conversation. It gave me the creeps.

Shes definitely a candidate for one flew over the cookoos nest. But she's starting to get impatient now. Thank you for this awesome review. Gretchen

This work has reached the exceptional level

Missy is a very dangerous person. Miranda needs to tell Mitch about the picture of Ed on her window and Missy's psychotic behavior. I think I would have called him about the picture as soon as Waylon left for school. He might be able to find footprints, etc. Anyhow he needs to be kept abreast of what is going on with Missy as well. Good job! Nancy:)

Well, we never truly know what anyone is capable of, anymore than they know themselves. But just from the time I've been reading your stories, it would be my guess that Missy's nail ran across your arm, would of been grounds for an old fashioned cowgirl butt whooping. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

I prefer not to get my hair messed up with fighting. Not when I can shred them with my razor sharp tongue. I appreciate this fun review. Gretchen

Oh, Lordy! This is one of my favorite chapters. The picture in the window of Ed Preston that's creepy all by itself, and then Missy shows more of her true colors to Miranda. Great stuff, Gretchen! Best, JohnC

The narrative is full of possibilities! Missy is so awful that the reader can't wait for her to get her come-uppance! There are a number of bodies lying about. The reader waits for the sequel!
