What a clever poem telling the story of God and how He would use technology. I think the good venture of Him getting all the email addresses and sending them answers is very logical.

Thanks for the review, Rosemary. God, being from the old school, I thought He might not like computers.

This was funny. I imagine your poem is what it would look like if a human tried to do God's job. Actually, I think there's a similar scene in Bruce Almighty where the filing cabinet isn't enough, Post-Its don't work, and he does resort to email. I think several million people win the lottery when he sends a group "Yes" to everyone. It's a concept that's been done before, but your particular tone, and attention to detail, made it a smile-worthy read.

I find it rather annoying that you are so well versed in the data gathering process as I am challenged at every turn. Ha ha. Clever writing that stumped my thick headedness. Just kidding. Funny write.

A very inventive and enjoyable verse crafted in flowing rhymed verse with humour and fun. I enjoyed the "discard bin" and his spreadsheets distracting him from his duties to the "poor soul." But it was all excellently presented with striking image. Thanks for sharing, Debbie

I enjoyed the humor in your poem, as well as the visual imagery. I wondered what happens if the software crashes. I look forward to reading more of your work.

Thanks, Diana. There is a company called Prayers "R" Us that God uses when He has problems.

Fantastic, I love this. God knows more about computers than I do, as it should be. I know where my next email is going to! I love the excellent rhyming in your poem, thanks for sharing.:)

haha Bruce Almighty had a scene where Jim Carrey had to organize the prayers that he received. I believe he first started with post-its though. This is a creative and entertaining piece that offers a fresh perspective on the relationship between God and humanity. Great post!

hahaha... imagining God has an excel spreadsheet to keep of prayer requests is really funny. I always thought it would be hard to hear all the prayers. Good job with the rhyming poem.

Thanks, Gypsy. He also may have an angel that screens prayers.
