Hi Verna,
This is a great prayer. It is similar to one I say. I think we all need to pray for this and find a way to spread peace. My prayer is also that religious zealots return to the true ways of their religion and so return to peace and acceptance.
Congrats on placing third in the contest.

I love the theme of this prayer that, instead of hate, our hearts should be filled with love. This isn't about taking sides but understanding that hate can only create divisions between people who remain equal in God's eyes. It was with massive admiration and inspiration that I saw the Israeli hostage shake hands with her captor. That's true God-given love and your prayer reaches out for this.
