Thank you very much, Beth. One would hope so, and the answer will be in tonight's chapter. I appreciate your review, especially as the story had just expired.

The CEO's personal assistant went back to offence as a defence. She sounded like a school girl brat. The stories you've related about the way Jonathon was treated by that CEO are just disgusting. An emotional write for you to rekate, Wendy, we
an hear it in your words. Well done,
cheers

Thank you very much Valda. Such a thoughtful and compassionate review. You are right about her, in retrospect. That was exactly it. And yes, that was another hard chapter to write. Many thanks for your encouragement.

Hello Wendy,
this is absolutely unbelievable. What in heavens name are they doing? They don't give a damn about Jonathon, and their ignorance and arrogance is on full display. Reading this is like watching a suspenseful movie. I'm so glad that you had all those years of documentation. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. Hopefully it will end well.
Have a blessed day.
Tom

Thank you, Tom!! Yes, it really was unbelievable, and now looking back it seems quite incredible. At the time I was too caught up to think about the unreasonableness of what they wanted to do; they didn't care about Jonathan. It was to them simply a battle of wills, and they were going to win, one way or another. I appreciate very much your ongoing support - and the beautiful stars. How very encouraging - I am thankful and grateful.

What the actual heck! i am getting frustrated and angry just reading about all of this and each continuing story gets worse and worse. I hope it eventually has a happy ending. I don't know how you keep your composure with these idots. Very interesting story. Well written.

Thank you very much for reviewing. I appreciate your kind words and encouragement. Some parts are not very enjoyable, I'm afraid. All will be well - soon. Keep reading! It's all going into a book called Jonathan's Story.

I'm so sorry they pay lip service to your needs and requests when it comes to his care and withdrawal from the hospital. They don't listen to you at all it seems. Too bad you have so little power when it comes to choosing where he will live and be taken care of.
Keep the faith and hope alive, my friend.

I hope writing this out helps some to relieve the stress. I'm not clear as to how long ago this 'trial' happened. This would make a great film or documentary and deliver some important lessons.

Thank you Shari. In some ways, yes. It has been very hard to relive some of these experiences eg our initial fostering problems and being let down by failing systems, and then his "accident", Sheryl's death, all their bullying, and now this, but I think when I have completed it, it will be cathartic. The Guardianship Tribunal was in late 2013. Meanwhile, I was teaching secondary school fulltime through all this. Thank you so much for continuing to read and review with care and compassion, and also for the six beautiful stars, which are both a delight and a great support.

Just want you to know, that I am barracking for you, this help/health care mob do not seem to be capable or even care about anyone else, I must have missed a chapter as I did not realize you had given permission for the tube feeding, do you still think that is for the best? an excellent read and good on you for getting the upper hand****kahpot

Thank you very much Kahpot! I appreciate so much the encouragement you give, and others too. That chapter you missed is called "Between a rock and a hard place", and it is still promoted (till tomorrow) if you want to check it out. It is actually a significant chapter, with a lot of bearing on the decision to have him tube-fed. Meanwhile, I greatly appreciate your ongoing support, as always. Thanks again.

Oh Wendy, I was so relieved to read that you had the support of your husband and daughter because I would have completely cracked under the strain of it all. Their callousness, cruelty and unprofessionalism are unbelievable and I feel distraught for you just reading about it. It's like a never-ending nightmare. But thank goodness you had the foresight and wisdom to be so prepared and that barrister's reference was a sublime move! Oh dear! Tell me it can't get much worse (but, of course, I know how sick Jonathan got last year). Bless you for your fortitude, Wendy! Debbie x

Thank you so very much Debbie! What a lovely review, filled with kindness and compassion - and both of these qualities of your reviewing have helped me to keep writing. Yes, the family were all very suppportive throughout, and we all felt the same way about the various ongoing decisions we had made, which was good. During all this, I was teaching full-time. Calm and happy and looking after my students during the day, and each night organising thirteen years worth of paperwork for this Tribunal!

I have a feeling you will win this case, Wendy. How could you not with all that evidence you compiled against them and only the one thin file they had? They have already been caught in a lie and rebuked for a nasty remark. If you don't win this case, there is something very wrong here.

I can imagine your frustration and anxiety being at the mercy of that rotten disability organization. Hopefully some heads will roll, and some major changes will be the result of this horrible episode.

This was so well written, putting us right there along with you and your family, who it was nice to see was supporting you in this fight for Jonathan's future. This continues to be an incredible tale of one woman against the system. Let's hope she wins in the end.

I'm appalled at their duplicity! Those we rely on to help are in the business of not helping, it seems.

A Guardianship Tribunal sounds like something out of the movie The Hunger Games. I keep thinking of Sheryl, and how she would be horrified by what was happening.

I think I know which way this will end - at least I hope that I do. However, I've been consistently shocked by "what happens next".

Looking forward to "what happens next"!

Thank you so much, Pam! Yes, I did feel I had let Sheryl down badly ... and yet I think she would understand. I am so pleased you are continuing to follow and review these stories. So very supportive and encouraging.
