Gypsy, inference from title, picture, theme, tone and text indicates nothing
good to read about here...Scribe in this melancholic write expounds in raw
candid details and a graphic simile (hurt like a dagger through the chest). I
only hope writing your "hurt heart" out, some purge will take place or even
began a healing or may be a catharsis. teafor2

Hello Gypsy,

I totally agree that having a heartache or heartbreak is one of the most painful things a human-being will experience in their lifetime. Whether it's from a lost lover, a broken marriage or losing a dear loved one that passes away. I've had many in my lifetime and it seems they get worse every time.

Happy Easter...Bill

Heartache is an emotion that lasts for a lifetime. When you are alone, you must sit, and look at the lingering moon; you'll feel the rewards are a bit lonelier. That's when you seek a different direction for loneliness.

I'm wondering if you're referring to Barbara Streisand.

A beautiful free verse poem that puts words to what heartache feels like. The presentation is so well-crafted. It adds even more depth to the poem as we see the colors change along with the words. Very well-written. Thank you for sharing.

I know how it feels when the heart breaks, too, and you did a great job of describing it here. I like that you also included the poem in plain black. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Another fine poem, Gypsy...boy is it ever true. The first time I ever fell in love, just out of high school, when she didn't feel the same, the depths of my depression scared me so bad I vowed never to let myself feel that way again, and I never did, even the breakup of my marriage didn't cause me that much emotional pain

This is well written and very clearly expressed. The colors of its font bring a sad and lonely atmosphere that is otherwise not associated with reds and even gold or yellow. This in my humble opinion, shows creativity and works very well.
Thanks for sharing.

Wow, this is a powerful poem. Recently, I felt the pain of a broken heart. The way you described it is how I felt. The words show the agony of a broken heart. The pictures are great for your poem. Great job.

That is great. Everything has been thought about and work well. I particularly like the use of changing colour throughout. You might want to look at your black font version as it has gone crazy: it does hurtÃ???Ã??Ã? like a dagger.
Many thanks, I have a lot to learn.
