Finally, it took me long enough but it has been so much this week. However, you have had quite a week yourself.
This is a wonderful chapter and I love that they started to get to know each other better and that she is accepting his being a centaur. This has my imagination working over time as I hear their conversations and i love how close they have become already and how much she trusts him.
Thanks for another amazing chapter and I am sorry it took so long for me to get here, but I didn't want to cheat myself out of it by rushing my reading or my review.
It is awesome and like always I can't wait for the next one. I had one six star left for my birthday poem from Joanne on Saturday. But I think I will just review it on Sunday. Love, Debi

Hi Dearest friend,
Thank you for the six stars. You are too sweet to wait until you felt more like reviewing. I've done that before, but I'd rather wait and give you a chance to do it at your own pace.
Love and hugs,
Rhonda

This is a fun story that sucked me right into the action. Who doesn't love mythology, talking horses, a beautiful woman, and adventure? It was very well written, and the reading went quickly, leaving me anxious to learn more. The stunning pictures added to the story. All generated with AI? I await the next chapter. gayla

Hi Gayla,
I am so glad you dropped in on the story. I know I love mythology!! I've written some other books that aren't Greek in nature, but they are almost always based on a myth of some sort.
Yes on the AI generated pictures. I try with other formats, but I haven't found a way to get them integrated into the story. These are the only ones that don't disappear on me.
Thanks again,
Rhonda

Hello Rhonda,
Another marvelous chapter for the story, the interaction between Phoebus
and Diantha reads smoothly and a sparkle may have ignited at their touch.
We know Phoebus either is or becomes King of Concorde Valley, so the relationship should grow as the story continues.
I like the name "Courage" better than "Nutmeg." Even though I am an expert on "Spices."
It also appears that Rich is another bad guy. He doesn't just break off the engagement, he tries to have Diantha killed. What a guy.
Well done.
Best wishes.
Robert

Hi Robert, thank you so much for the lovely six stars, my friend!!
Hehe on the spices. I actually thought about you and Pam on that.
Phoebus, aka Atrius, is already the king, albeit a Centaur. Both he and Diantha will grow as characters as they work out their challenges.
There's more to the fiance and his hitman than meets the eye. You actually hit on it a few reviews ago.
I'm so glad you're following this story, too!!
Take care,
Rhonda

This is another of your Concord Valley stories that I have come to love. You do a good job of showing that Diantha is rather innocent and has not had much chance to make decisions for herself. Atrius is a real gentleman even if he isn't entirely a man.

Hi Carol,
What a treat! I got to hear from you twice!! Diantha's inability to make decisions is due to a combination of controlling parents and a docile nature. She will have to overcome both!!

What an awesome epic story this has become. I believe that when a story or series of stories are this consistently good, it is called a story that has legs. They stand, they run, they are stalwarts. Please pardon the hyperbole, but this series in my humble opinion has some very sturdy legs.

Nolan,
Thank you so very much for the six star review, my friend!! I love the analogy of the story having legs. That speaks a lot for your thoughts on it. That means a lot, my friend!!

You are most welcome. Just please keep writing.

Likewise, my friend!!

well, this is fascinating. An up to date story with a centaur, who speaks today's English, to boot.
When I was in College in Virginia, our Mythology class consisted totally of listening to our teacher tell us the stories of the Greek gods and goddesses. It was amazing.
How lovely to have a father who told you stories.
Where do you live now? Not still Here, In San Antonio?
Most enjoyable.

Hi Katharine!!
I didn't know you live in San Antonio!! Another Texan onboard!! No, I live in the Dallas area now, sort of southeast of it.
My father told us stories all the time, and in various genres. My sister, however, always told me stories of Greek Mythology. Well, we played school and she was always the teacher. She would teach me Greek mythology, lol.
Funny, but she became a hospital admin and I became the teacher.
Take care,
Rhonda

now you can tell HER stories! :) OR dedicate one of yours to her.

Very true. She's a pretty supportive big sister. Just don't tell her I said so, lol.

Another fine chapter, Rhonda, and there's nothing better than writing review and pressing send and somehow the whole thing disappears. Must have bumped something. Oh well, live and don't learn. To bad, because you would have seen me say from Nutmeg to Champion, that's quite an upgrade. I've been thinking of upgrading mine from Mike to Stallionous, bet my date's laughter when contrasted with reality would be tough to endure!

Mike, I just love your reviews!! You always make me smile.
Yes, a big upgrade on Diatha's part. I'm guessing her horse is a better matchmaker than her parents!!
Yeah, I'm having the disappearing act happen a lot lately. It's happening to other people, too. Sometimes I give up and tell them in a private message. I'm glad this one came through. I loved it!!
Love your horse name!!

Outstanding writing as always and a pleasure to read, and that's saying a mouthful for someone who has never been a reader of fantasy. But you do it so well! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ric,
Thank you so much for reviewing this chapter, and for the beautiful six stars!!.
I appreciate you stepping out of your comfort zone. I try to make my fantasy as close to reality as possible, of that makes sense. It's sort of a way for people to examine their own lives and issues under the guise of the fantastic.
Thanks again,
Rhonda
Comment from Pam (respa)
Excellent artwork and chapter to go with it, Rhonda. You did a good job with all of the dialogue between Atrius and Diantha, and even the horse, although it spoke to Atrius and we didn't hear it. Atrius is very polite, as well as a good cook, and being a caring person. I also think Atrius is a good teacher and very patient. He doesn't mind answering Diantha's questions and cares about their horses.
I'm glad Atrius has accepted his condition so maybe there will be redemption for him later on, especially for what he has done for Diantha in this short period of time. I had to comment on Atrius' question: "You named your horse after a spice?" Champion also has a lot of insight into Diantha's situation, even at home. I like the sense of peace and calm at the end of the chapter.
Very well done.

Thank you so much for the six stars and beautiful rating, Pam. You have a lot of insight into the character of Atrius. He's come a long way, but you'll learn later why. He will still have some issues to overcome.
Thanks again, ever so much,
Take care,
Rhonda

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Rhonda, and your comment about my insight about Atrius means a lot.
-
It was a good insight. I'm trying to develop him and Dianatha as they were static in the last book.
Comment from Jacob1395
I am wondering now if things will develop more between Diantha and Atrius now that they have been reunited. Atrius does seem to be like a changed person since Zeus made him a centaur. A well written chapter, Rhonda, I really enjoyed it.

Thank you so much, Jacob, for taking time out to review. Atrius is changed, but has some more left to do.
I'm glad you liked it,
Take care,
Rhonda
