Ha, her journey had already begun, but I get it. This is a well-crafted chapter and her wonder at the new sites come through clearly.
"Some people have trouble believing what they don't understand, even if it is staring them in the face."
_ I would be careful with this 'old saying' it is often misunderstood and misapplied. Remember: sometimes, seeing is believing.

Hi again,
Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful review.
Yeah, the old saying was a stretch, but tends to explain how he gets away with some of what he does in the outside world.
Take care,
Rhonda

Hello Rhonda,
I think many people in the world would love to find a place like Concorde Valley and stay for quite a while. Marvelous description and slow reveal of both the valley and the growing relationship between Diantha and Atrius/Phoebus.
One forgets that Atrius is a Centaur. Perhaps Poseidon might undo Zeus' spell.
Clever ending with "Your journey begins."
Well done.
Hope all is well as the new year (and winter) creeps along.
Best wishes.
Robert

Hi Robert,
Thank you for the six stars, my friend. There are times I would like a Concorde Valley, too. Not everything is all smiles and roses, though, as Diantha will soon find out.
I'm glad Atrius comes off as a normal person. It has a lot to do with the fact he sort of is, down deep.
Yes, it would be nice if Poseidon did have the authority to reverse the curse. Unfortunately for Atrius, he'll have to appeal to a higher source, lol.
Winter is definitely creeping. It's okay now, but we had some pretty nasty weather around our parts the past few days. All we got here was cold rain and two days off school, lol.
Take care,
Rhonda

Very nice artwork and excellent chapter to go with it, Rhonda. I'm glad you are writing the story again. Congratulations on post number 300! You do a good job with Artrius and Diiantha. It is interesting how someone who is a centaur can make you forget he is one, and come across as appealing and attractive. Kudos to you for making that happen.
The journey is a pleasant one as the two ride toward Concorde Valley. Diantha seems to it and the scenery around her. We see the valley through her eyes because she hasn't seen it, either.
A very good concluding section, especially at the end when "a twinkle graced Atrius' eyes."
Very well done, my friend.

Hi Pam,
Thank you so much for the six stars, and for the congratulations. To be honest, I had forgotten it was, but am so glad I've reached it!! Now, on to the next 100, lol.
I'm so glad I've managed to make Atrius seem more human. That was the illusion I was going for. It helps that I already wrote about him as such in the previous book. lol.
I originally wrote this as a much longer chapter, then decided to add to the description and cut it off before the action started.
As always, I appreciate your time and attention,
Take care,
Rhonda

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars, congratulations, and the review, Rhonda. He is more human, and then some! You take care, too.

I could really get a sense of the world as Dianatha was surveying her surroundings. I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes next in her tale and how things will develop. Another excellent read, Rhonda, I really enjoyed reading it.

Hi Jacob,
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!! I'll try to post again soon. It's funny how I've been busier since I quit work that when I was, either that or lazier, not sure...
Take care,
Rhonda

This chapter beautifully continues the enchanting tone of your story, blending fantasy with relatable human emotion. The dynamic between Diantha and Atrius feels natural and engaging, and the introduction of Concorde Valley is immersive and vivid. The pacing allows readers to breathe in the magic of the world while hinting at future challenges and growth.

This is a great story with wonderfully written characters. Diantha had seemed so weary and bored when she was in her own world, but this new world is turning her into a very adventuresome person. How wonderful to arrive somewhere riding on the back of a Centaur.

A fascinating story, Rhonda, as you were describing the valley, it reminded me of where my ancestors came from, Emmentaler valley in Switzerland. Very exciting and descriptive.

Thank you for the lovely six stars, my friend!! Thank you for sharing about your ancestral land and how Concorde Valley reminds you of it. I'm going to have to look it up and see if I can add some more elements from there.
Take care,
Rhonda

First of all I would like to congratulate you once more on your 300 Milestone Post!!
Awesome job getting there.
And for your story, I wouldn't mind being Diantha about now. That sounds like a beautiful place, and looks heavenly. Oh, Rhonda, these two personalities match up so wonderfully and who cares about the bird and bees, LOL, they are made for each other.
This is one of the best love stories I have read in a long time. I absolutely love it.
You have the greatest imagination, my dear friend. I am having so much fun reading this and this valley, well I am picturing how adventurous it can really be.
This is a story I look forward to reading every time I see you post. So thank you for another wonderful chapter. You are brilliant, my beautiful friend.
Love and hugs, Debi

Hi Sweet Debi,
Thank you so much for reviewing!! Thank you for your kind words about it. Yes, there are two beings most in need of being together, but there are a lot of challenges, lol.
You are too sweet and I'm glad it's resonating with you. I'm going to try to post again tomorrow.
Love and hugs,
Rhonda

Dear Rhonda, I'm so sorry I can't give this magical story the six it so deserves, it was fabulous. I'm thinking how can I design a village like that and live there, and have Atrius there with me as well!!! LOL Graham (my hubby) can be the chef! lol. This was such a beautiful chapter, full of magical places and colours. Loved it all! Now to see what adventure Diantha will be having. Well done, my friend. Love and hugs Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra,
I'm excited to have you in Concorde Valley with the rest of us who need to pick our own spot. And now we have a chef!!!! Can't beat that.
That's okay on the six. I know I'm late posting. Everytime I'd get started, I'd change direction, lol. To be honest, I was making it too long, so tried to find a way to find a stopping point.
Big hugs,
Rhonda

How is Wayne? I meant to ask you but got so excited! Is he improving still? xxx
-
He's having ups and downs, I'm afraid. We had a really bad Monday as he battled severe pain, but he's still here, and I'm still not working. It's something. We keep praying and that's sustaining us.
-
I'm so sorry, Rhonda. Life can be nasty. I'm glad you were able to give up working to be there with him. Everyone is praying for him, and you, my friend. You need them too to keep strong. Sending love and hugs. xxxx
-
I couldn't have done it without the prayers and support, I assure you!!
-
They will keep coming. Love you lots. xxxx
-
Yay!! They are needed and working!!

Aww. Here I was all set to embark on a journey of discovery like Diantha, only to be rudely awakened to the reality of the message, "Tune in next week, same Bat time, same Bat channel for the next exciting adventure."
I know that you have to end each chapter somewhere, but that does nothing to ease my disappointment when it happens. Great job.

Aww, thank you for the six and for the comments. I plan to post the rest on Sunday, if not before. It was just too long for one post, so I decided to cut it off at a stopping point.
You encourage me, my friend,
Hugs,
Rhonda
