This is a good poem, but you have issues with your syllable count. You only have 19 syllables.
You also have a typo at the beginning of the poem: (I If)
If you fix your issues you should be okay.

Thank you for bringing that typo to my attention but the word ruin has two syllables just an FYI
Is ruins 1 or 2 syllables?
2 syllables
Correctly pronounced "ruin" has 2 syllables, so if someone is pronouncing it as one they are not using the correct pronunciation. You can listen to it in American and British English. Aug 1, 2022

Trust is so important. Breaking trust can change a person's life but on the other there are times when Breaking a trust can save a life if someone is being hurt ot is hurting his or her self. This is well written and thought provoking with a good supportive photo presentation.

Thank you, Alex. Yes, I agree there are times at that trust needs to be broken when it comes to abuse, danger, life, and death. I'm glad that it's thought-provoking.

As you say, once we betray someone's confidence, we won't get it back again. It can take will-power and strength of character but it's worth it so long as no one else is going to get hurt in the process or justice denied.
