I like the idea of this beautiful little flower "thrusting" through the frozen ground to "assert" itself in all its glory. An excellent tribute to the power of nature in the face of adversity. Well done and good luck! Debbie

This is a very lovely Cinquain poem. It has all the elements for this style of poem. It is well organized and flows nicely from beginning to end.

Good luck in the contest.

Cecilia

-Nice image and presentation.
-You wrote a good poem about it.
-Good descriptive words get
our attention at the beginning.
-You continue that with the
"adventurous green shoots."
-Very good closing lines
with the addition of personification.
-A good entry; good luck!!

Yes roll on Spring and here we have a wonderful reminder that the hardy snowdrop is pushing upwards towards the extra light of Spring days - a great pic to illustrate
