    So glad my wee poem delighted you.

    I love how gentle Bobo is towards the tiny tyke.

    It's amazing that the busy baby even went close to Bobo to being with, it must have sensed he was not a threat.

I love how your poem pairs so well with the image of the guerrilla. The way you use "small" and "Bush Baby" is perfect. I get a sense of tenderness from your poem. The idea of being "enthralled" adds a nice touch. Almost like the guerrilla is in awe. Keep going - this is really creative!

    Bobo the gorilla was in awe.

    The biggest and the smallest primate of the sub Sahara Africa , an unlikely match and yet ..

    For days the tiny tyke came to visit Bobo who at first hide during their daily encounters in the vegetation of the sanctuary. It’s amazing how gentle Bobo was.

    You can see in the video how careful he handled the bushbaby with those massive hands.

    It has had 11 views but only two comments , I guess their unique story doesn’t enthrall all ( sigh)

Love this poem! I am fond of all primates and this is a touching story. Gorillas are often gentle and like smaller animals. I like how Bobo returned the bushbaby to the trees, shows how intelligent he is.

    Their friendship had been going on for days. Bobo would hide in the vegetation , he didn’t want the rest of the troop to see, it was a secret at first.

    The bushbaby continued to come back and finally the caregivers discovered what was going on and took that footage.

    Bobo is so massive yet he handles the tyke so gently.
