So sorry to be late to this party. Oh-my-hotness! This guy is zeroing in our girl. Love and trust go hand in hand. and Diantha trusts Brandon, and has feelings for him. Atrius better gallop in! War is looming with uncertainty. I'm glued to this book!
More, please... Fabulous chapter, my friend! Brava!
Sending you my best today as always.
Love,
Sal XOs

    Hi Sally,
Thank you so much for your sweet, six star rating, my friend!! Things aren't looking so good for poor Atrius here, but he's not too far away, lol.
Yes, action will soon arrive, but a few things first, lol.

    Love across the bridge,
    Rhonda

Rhonda, This is a great part 2. I need to go back and read some more. I just have to wait until I have more time. You used great descriptive words with their tree walking and the feelings that were flowing between them. It made my heart happy as I read this. love and blessings, Teri

    Hi Teri,
Thanks so much for reading. I need to write a summary to go in the notes like I did on the last book, that way no one has to go back and read earlier chapters. I'm just glad you were able to hop on now.
    Hugs

Very nicely written.
Atrius has us all bivouacked ahead of the games. - I was in the military and know the word, but seeing it in past tense made 'bivouacked' look strange.
Best wishes.

    Hi Wayne,
Thank you so much for the review. I appreciate the military feedback. What would be a proper use of the word so I can make it sound better?
reply by Wayne Fowler on 01-Mar-2025
I suppose bivouacked is fine. I just never saw it as a verb and especially not in past tense.

Hello Rhonda,
Well, that was certainly a romantic chapter, a tree dancing heartthrob,
who could ask for more. Doesn't seem like she being pushed, more like she's falling all on her own. Of course, we know that something will upset the
apple tree cart.
The art work fits the story perfectly.
Well done.
Best wishes.
Robert

    Hi Robert,
I hope this finds you doing well. I appreciate the six stars, for sure!!
The applecart is definitely on it's way to being upset, but such is life in the valley, lol.
She is having feelings for Brandon, rightly so, but will it be enough to overcome her infatuation with Atrius?? I guess you already know the answer to that, but such is the fate of prequel books, lol.

    Take care,
    Rhonda

This was a working encounter to teach Diantha to dance through the trees. But it turns romantic as she and Brandon dance. If Atrius wasn't a Centaur, Diantha would be enchanted by him.

    Hi Carol,
Thank you so much for the six stars, my friend. I appreciate you so much. She and Brandon really do share a romantic experience, but will it be enough to overcome her feelings for someone else? We'll see.
    Take care,
    Rhonda

Oh, 'Rhonda, I sense much danger, in the battle field and in the heart. I take it that she is struggling between her feelings for Atrius and for Brandon. Wow, what a challenge that will be for her. Oh please don't let anything happen to either one of these great guys. Gosh, I would be torn too.

I love the walking in the trees and can't wait to see how that is when they go into battle mid morning. How scary is that for all of them.
I can't wait to see how it goes. Sorry it took me so long to review, but it was well worth it. Thanks so much for this wonderful chapter. Love ya, Debi

    Hi Debi,
Thank you so much for reviewing, my dear friend! There is much danger just on the horizon. Meanwhile, Diantha is going to juggle her feelings for both men.

I'll put the two guys through some hardship, but I promise they will survive, lol. Don't tell anyone!!

    Much love,
    Rhonda

    Awe, thank you for that.

Thanks also for the video today. I watched the whole thing about Africa and the prayer at the end was powerful.

It was actually fun. I followed it off and on all day. It was 25 hours straight. I caught a few countries as they went there. You can always go back now and watch others, or highlights of them.

Rhonda,

This is a great chapter of your book. I thought it neat they were tree dancing. I was hoping Brandon would have feelings for Diantha.

Well done

Cecilia

    Hi Cecilia
I appreciate your review and comments. Brandon does have feelings for Diantha, but might be rushing her a bit.

Rhonda I think you are correct. I hope they end up together eventually.

What a great story this is. I too have mixed feelings for two different women, both close friends. One is playing hard to get, the other is not even aware of how I feel about her, at least I don't think she does. I am at a loss as to what my next move might be. or even what my next move should be. Now that I am a widower, the door appears to be wide open.

The good thing is, like Diantha, at least you have some choices. I know it's been forever since you've dated and that makes it hard. It seems the rules have changed of late as well.

Might I suggest a moonlit dance in trees?? Okay, maybe not, but I'll bet the second lady is trying to decide how to let you know how she feels. Best of luck!!!

Thank you. I have a friend that is close to both of us, and she is on my side and working in my behalf.

That was a really beautiful moment between Diantha and Brandon as they danced in the trees and I thought Diantha's emotions came through so well in this scene. I could see just how much it meant to her in her dialogue and how grateful she was. Another excellent engaging chapter, Rhonda, I really enjoyed reading it.

Thank you so much for the review, Jacob! It means a lot to me to get your youthful point of view. I'm trying to write for young adults and I seldom get them to chime in. Plus, I love your work, lol.

    Take care,

Perhaps a romance is overdue, and that menace will not destroy a beautiful story. I like how idyllic your lovebirds in an enchanting forest. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

Hi Iza. I'm afraid Brandon is, literally, barking up the wrong tree on this one. Atrius will re-emerge soon.
    Thanks for your lovely review,
    Rhonda
