Hi it is sad when love cease to exist in a marriage and you have to go on living with the same partner...there are the children. Heartbreak. It looks that you try to perk it up again. But fail.

Your poem is full of emotion. I really like how you used the rose as a symbol of love. The ending holds onto a sense of possibility - which I really liked. It's sad yet hopeful at the same time. Beautiful writing!
