A member clued me onto your writing. I read some of your novel, but I fear I've missed too much. But I did find your flash fiction pieces that required no catching up. lol

My sincere apologies....Sorry for not seeing and thanking you for your thoughtful praise and for your time. I keep slipping through the cracks and finding it difficult to follow my love of writing. I am once again returning, but on a much slower pace. I hope you might read my newest contributions to Fanstory and enjoy them as well. HA! What a dirty deed! I get why they did it, but sort of cruel too. I liked how you added the times as she drove over town! I think I would have thrown a hissy fit. I don't know. I've never had a party, let alone a surprise party! And someone else suggested omitting the last line, and I agree. Wonderful example of surprise ending! :D

Wow! Thank god she decided to go! I had a friend way back in high school who had a girlfriend who other than being a bit of a hothead, was totally happy in the relationship. Well for whatever reason one of her friends claimed to have slept with him and even though it was a lie she went out seeking revenge. Before the issue could've been resolved she had in fact cheated on him. If I was that girl in your story I think I would've been pissed more than elated. Good luck!

I happily agree with you. If someone did this to me, I'd be real angry. Fortunately, we can write stories and no one gets hurt.

The story not only mislead Jenna but the reader was mislead too. The phone message, then the package then the phone call, all that said was Steve was cheating. So when it turns out to be a surprise party both Jenna and the reader were surprised. By the way, who was the lady in the photo. I'm sure Jenna will be asking that question later after the surprise wears off.
