Hi Mikey,
I think this is a very realistic look at the events of 9/11. How brilliant to write it as a one act play. The dialogue is strong and the stage directions are perfectly executed. I believe you are correct. So many of us were just in a daze of disbelief.

This is a good replay of the disbelief we all felt watching this event unfold in front of our eyes of world wide television. Also the fact that Joe and Brenda pour themselves another drink and keep on watching - what else could they do?. Nicely done mikey,

Remembering 9/11, it's hard to understand why everyone's upset about the new immigration laws.

A good remembrance of the events of that horrible day. I read with full attention to every detail. The only negative is that the dialogue seemed a bit stilted and unreal. I think this was because you were also trying to narrate the events for us. Nice job, though.

I think this is a good script. The only thing is it is a bit unrealistic in my opinion. If they both take an interest in this, I wouldn't make them drinkers. I have known drinkers and their attitude would be, 'this is sad, pass us another beer, love.' Thank you for sharing.

You've written a gripping scene that I would imagine played out across the world, and in different languages as many of us witness what our eyes and mind can never erase. Effective in scene reference and character insight.
