" Rice was not on the menu at our house, so Blackie began taking most of his meals down the street with a neighbor, who served him rice regularly." A cute solution.

"I want my children to know us as we knew each other and not just as their parents." What a great reason to reminisce!

Dear Beth, I know this chapter, will be of particular interest to your children when they read it. Because you described not only the what, but the why you made the decisions that later impacted their lives.

Hi Beth, Another interesting part of your story. There's a lot going on. House hunting and finding a new home, then you had to change your job yet again, and now a fourth child might be on its way. Wow!
His diet consisted of mostly of rice. = His diet consisted mostly of rice.
I like this, and can't wait to see what's next. Ulla:)))

Oh, here comes the last little bundle of joy! As usual, there's so much happening in this chapter. I'm glad everything worked out with your new house, except that you would soon have another baby on the way -- I hope it was a boy!

You were extremely employable -- either that, or the job market was very good back then, especially in the South.

Well I did find a few errors in this chapter:

Who is Arial Black? The photographer of the beautiful sunset in your chapter?

I'm relieved that the resentful Latino guy didn't hurt you. Your husband was very loving and protective. And I hope Blackie proved to be a less troublesome and very loyal little dog.

Thank you Mary Kay. This looks more like what I have come to expect. LOL The Ariel Black was the name of the type font I originally wrote this with. It wasn't supposed to be there. It got copied accidentally . I appreciate the six stars.

You're very welcome, Beth. Arial Black, of course, it's a font, hahahaha! I was a word processing operator for many years, but I haven't had a working computer in awhile, so certain things escape me. I look forward to reading more about your continuing journey, and especially your fourth child. - Mary Kay xoxo

I'm so glad you were able to find a house you liked. It sounds perfect. I'm glad you don't have to work with that jerk anymore either. It'll be interesting to see if you'll be blessed with another child. Your chapter is well-written, interesting. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you so much for the great review and comments. The house was priced really low for the area. We were blessed to be able to get it.

Wow having a child at thirty four! I had three children at twenty two. We totally grew up with our children. You did luck out on your new house. It sounds like just what you needed. You had a very interesting life, Beth. Nancy:)

Thank you, Nancy. This last child will be born when the twins are ten and Carol is twelve. I had the first ones early. I think we all have interesting lives if we think back to things that made an impression.

The possibility of another child! Wonderful exciting news. Yes, there were changes in your life with the perfect house and a new job. This seems to be a good time in your life.

New house, new job, new baby? You never stopped doing new things, were you? Beth, a nice new chapter. You tell it all so vividly, it feels as if I was near you and I could see it all happening. Did you hear anything from that nasty man who left angry and threatening after the argument with you? I hope not! A much better experience with the nice Vicente from Cuba, I'd say.
Next time I'll hear if you are pregnant again.

Your stories are full of little miracles. I'm sure we all have experienced them but because you stopped to write about all the details like finding this perfect house and the timing of moving to a new job - all point to how God had everything planned for you. The rabbit pregnancy is fascinating. But I don't want to kill a rabbit either.

Life is full of miracles and too often we take them for granted and forget to give God thanks. I'm thankful He is helping me remember some of them. I believe He plans things for all His children. I think a pregant women urine used to be injected into the rabbit. Poor rabbit.
