Did you ever get to your Mazatlan paradise spot? Sounds rather romantic...fun in the sun sort of thing....but then we forget no airplanes are going anywhere yet..or did you book a flight?

Funny story.
The Coronella plague immigrated to Canada. Can you blame her? Canada is the best country in the world: we give you sanctuary, free medical insurance, housing, and the CERB.

I do like Canada--even in the winter. But, I confess, I like Mexico more. Zihuatanejo being my destination of choice. Alas, me and my mask are stuck here in Connecticut. And that's no mirage.
You write of my frustrations, too. How did you know?
Peace, Lee

I miss Mexico too, and I need to see that province that you are talking about

Zihuatanejo is a relatively small town next to Ixtapa in the state of Guerrero. It's on the west coast where the Sierra Madres meet the Pacific. Really picturesque. I've made many friends down there.

I must come and see with my own eyes:) sound Paradise

You have the unique talent of taking a serious problem and showing the bright side in your writing.
Like here: "Nice mirage, Westjet, call me when you are serious. I swear I will be the first one to try this, Coronella, or not. I don't care about the drinks, but I'm all for cooling off in the ocean. Yup, zoom me out, boss! I'm doing some looping with the dolphins at Mazatlan."
Good job, my friend. Bob

A very well-written story about the effects of the coronavirus on our lives and state of mind to be locked up 90 percent of our time where we cannot go anywhere without a mask is busy taking an unexpected turn.

The weather world-wide is topsy-turvey this year. I don't believe we can blame that on the Covid-19 Coronavirus, but it's interesting don't you think? Every other undesired unusuality tends to be bamed on the virus. In the long-term, will we be proven wrong on this?

I like you wishing to kick back and escape.
I for one would like to escape to Canada but Americans are not welcome yet. I have been to St. Johns, Montreal and Quebec mainly because it is my ancestral home. Dad was born in Montreal, Nana in Fogo Island.
Anyway thanks for the fantasy of escaping, I hope you make it to Mexico at least.

Another great chapter in the coronavirus story; the episode of the vacation mirage. Technology, technology. It is great when it works, but a nightmare when it doesn't. I like that line about all the black masks reminding us, even in a glorious backdrop of autumn colors, that the epidemic is still hanging in the air, like an Edgar Allen Poe story. We got a new timeclock, a fingerprinting time clock, and the system is putting in all kinds of crazy schedules for everybody and now they have to figure out how to override it. estory

A dream that cannot be true is like a mirage. It's just like the great longing for the tantalizing impossible. The trip to Mexico is a good example. Well done!
