You did well with this. The notice was a few pages back but glad I found it. I might cut back on fanned folks so I can see the favourites better. A couple of spags or suggestions. Just before[,] the Jordan Printing Company officially

Wondering if the following should skip the "r" and we b[r]ought fresh produce.

Hi Beth. Your story continues to draw my interest and I am ssure someday many of your grandchildren will appreciate the history.

You describe everything in detail and It is all "telling" rather than "showing" but I suppose it is difficult to use dialogue, for instance in a narrative like this. Good writing with very few if any typos. Bravo, my friend. Bob

Thank Mastery, When I write fiction, I do more showing but my fans who read regularly seem to like the way I'm doing this one as conversation and my children are loving it, so I probably won't change on this one at this point. I appreciate you stopping by.

Oh, Beth, you are writing this so very well. So much is happening in the children's life. I must say that the farm sounds like a place I would like to be. I can understand the dream your husband had. You make all this come to life. I love it. Looking forward to what's next. Ulla:)))

When your children are your age, they will love reading their history and especially because is is written by you detailing highlights of their growing up years.

I would read your writings if I was your child. My mother is dead and I still read her letters I kept.

Another great chapter in your memories. What I found most touching about this one is the sacrifices one makes for our loved ones. You didn't really love the country home but you went with it because your husband loved it. And your kids went along with it, too. I moved here because my husband loves this place even though it's far from my grand kids. We just know what our loved ones need in life.
Question:
we payed for as the work (paid?) Is there a different meaning here than the "paid" you used earlier?
Suggestion:
Sometime change can be (Sometimes)

Thank you for the review and the wonderful comments. I appreciate the notes of errors. Paid is correct for both. Payed is only correct in the nautical sense, whatever that means. LOL I think we get satisfaction as well by knowing we've made those we care about happy. Thank you also fo the 6 stars.

Those trips to Mississippi sound extremely good. That house and acreage would be so peaceful. Your children were all growing and life seemed to be moving along smoothly. You covered a lot of ground in this interesting chapter. Sounds like your husband was truly attached to Mississippi.

NB:
call for one of the>> for s/b 'from'
that I would be was able >> eliminate 'was'
To began with there>>began s/b 'begin'
the two of the would>>the s/b 'them'

Thank you Raif. I love your comments and appreciate your help. I'm glad we spent as much time as we did at the country place in Mississippi. I brought about many happy memories as well as quite a few conflicts as time went on.

More things that happen in 1973

Hello BethShelby Your chapter in your book Remembering Yesterday about
job solution and country days I liked and I found your events during the time you were looking for a job. I see that you got one that was not far from you lived. Smiles that director awarded Christi the first annual Pathfinder of the Year award.
Will be waiting for more things that happen in 1973.

I'm so glad you were able to find a good job, and so close to home too. I loved your memories of the Christmas holidays. Could picture it in my mind. Sounds like Don is growing into quite a little man, a bit of a daredevil too. My first experience with a bike, I ran into a tree. Not sure who got the worst end of that deal, me, the tree, or the bike. Think I would've went crazy hearing the doctor's diagnosis. Glad you were able to keep a clear head. I do hope the children adjusts to their new school. Your story is well-written, very interesting. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you so much for the review and comment. Don's bike didn't make out too well either. Especially after he landed it in a ditch full of water.
