Mrs. KT has devoted her entire professional life to teaching students of all ages to read and write. She is the author of the book, "At The Water's Edge," a collection of poems and short stories, and co-author of the Christmas anthology, "12 New Christmas Stories," written with fellow FanStory members, Terry Broxson, Lee Hill, Ann Mullen, and Jay Squires. She spent over fifteen years teaching college and graduate students the process and joy of writing. She and her husband have been joyfully married for forty-five years, living in a beautiful resort town in northern Michigan, and are the parents of two amazing and dearly loved adult children and the grandparents of three dearly loved grandsons.

After nearly thirty-eight years of teaching the art and craft of writing, she retired from the teaching profession in June of 2016.

As the English poet William Blake wrote: "A bird does not sing because he has an answer; he sings because he has a song."
