the moon sits on fire on the mountain where fierce wolves howl
above a cloudless sky has embers left behind by the burning sun
as your piercing eyes the color of midnight rain wash over me
your sand color skin tastes like cinnamon sugar and smells like myrrh
and a wild uproar erupts inside my wistful heart where your Spirit dwells

"Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" - 1 Corinthians 3:16
