Jenna heard a blood-curdling scream outside. Chills ran up her spine. Peeking through the curtains, she peered into the darkness.
She saw movement in the bushes, a man lurking in the shadows. Fear gripped her.
She slammed the door closed and locked it. Leaning against it, she listened. There was nothing but her ragged breath and pounding heart.
A hand touched her. She screamed and fainted.
Her bleeding husband stood there, confused. "Women and blood! It's only a cat scratch."
