Your poems, as always, Debi, are top of the class.
I would say you should have got a job at Hallmark, but that would be an insult to your creativity and craft.
Another excellent poetic tribute to a FanStory friend.

I liked reading this birthday tribute poem. Favorite lines:
n college studied piano

And music therapy and harp

She knew how to make music flow

As she played both in flat and sharp
Very nicely done and shared!

Hi Crystie, I am so glad you picked that verse because I wasn't sure if I should use the flat and sharp rhyme. So thank you so much for that.

Happy Birthday to Marilyn!

You've shared so much about her that I didn't know-- and done so in your trademark verse and rhyme!

She lives in Maine? Why, that's just "up the road" from me!

I love strolling in graveyards too...

How sweet of you to honor Marilyn!

Your poem, celebrating one of Fanstory's outstanding writers on her birthday is well penned. The captioned perfectly fits our dear Marilyn, whose limericks are funny, creative and entertaining. I join to wish her the best as she marks her day of birth. Thanks so much, dear Debi for sharing this sweet tribute dedicated to our Funny Marilyn.

Hello Debi,
this was a delight to read. I had no idea most of the facts about Marilyn, least of which was her birthday. I guess I'd forgotten that she lived in Maine. I never knew she was a postal clerk. When I think of postal clerks, I think of Newman, on Seinfeld. I know she's multi-talented. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

This is so much fun! Thank you for celebrating Marilyn! Wow! What a talented lady in music and writing and comedy! So cool. I am so glad you shined the spotlight on her. I'll give her a birthday message.

You are amazing to keep doing this when you have so much going on. Keep me posted on what happens tomorrow.

To tell you the truth, Helen, I am so nervous about tomorrow that I just have to keep myself busy. I cannot put my finger on why I am more apprehensive than normal, but I want to run away. But I know I cannot. I will update you tomorrow sometime. It will be a little bit later as it isn't until 2:10 and I know there will be more testing. My doctor was pretty upset with the last place who never even sent the tests. At least that is last I heard. Unless he got them before he made this appointment for me and that is why they want to discuss the transplant. Glen's sister had both of her eyes transplanted and this was the doctor who did them. Hers was something else too and yet it was the same disease. She was not blind but would have gone blind without the transplant.

Thanks so very much for this lovely review and sweet words for Marilyn and her poem. She will also appreciate the birthday wishes just as I do.

I appreciate you so much. Love, Debi

Maybe...for her work? A big Happy Birthday to Marilyn.
Your musical talents could entertain all the Postmen. I worked in the P.O. for six years. Bagging the mail made me quaile. My back went out to meet my front. The bags in those days were heavy canvas. Good on yer' Debbie. Our special Birthday clown. K xx
