Tom,

This is an interest flash fiction story. I don't know how you keep it all straight in your head. I have a hard enough time keeping one subject at a time.

Well done and good luck in the contest

Cecilia

Now that you mention it, visiting my mind is sort of like going into Space Mountain at Disney for even after mulitple rides I'd still would duck on the curves not knowing where the rafters are hung too low for comforters and yet the thrill of the ride makes for long lines as the thrill seekers return to stand in lines for hours.

What a great way to write a second person story. I loved all the famous people in this short story. It brings one to real life siting Wikipedia. This was a fun read. I wish you much luck in the contest.

and did you catch the wave with the beach scene in the picture, the beach boys, Brian Wilson and Buffet? Maybe it brought you back to the sixties. Thanks for the read and comment. Glad you enjoyed.

I happen to have been a Beach Boys and a Jimmy Buffet fan. I enjoyed reading this contest entry. You've made a few good points with this entry. Good luck with this contest.

In winter, they could have skiied Park City, Utah, or baked in (skied)

OMGosh this was brilliant, Tom. Virtual six!!! I love this tour to show us what all was sung or said in the magic time in our history. You maybe older than me, but we enjoyed much of the same thing. If I was writing the story I might have ended up on Gunsmoke and had Marshall Matt Dillion telling us to, "Get out of Dodge."
Haha. That is just me though. I did love every part of this and I wish you luck in the contest. What a hoot?? Thanks for the laughs and the big smiles going down Memory Lane. You've been there before, huh? LOL. Love, Debi

Well. I appreciate the appreciation in return I also made note of the appreciation noted in your recent release and will contemplate entering after I return from my almost complete MRI. Seems I have been battling head pressure since December and neither my G.P., Optician, E.N.T., Chiropractor, nor Neurologist have a clue. The pain on a scale of ten is constant between a 2-6 but never severe or gone unless I'm asleep. It increases if a bend over or when I cough or sneeze. As a wise man has said... this getting old is getting old.

Hemingway had a distinct style like no other author and like Marmite, you either love him or hate him as a writer. Not sure who you are emulating here Tom, but your diarised log is unusual and quirky, much enjoyed, love Dolly x x x

Marmite??? Is a yeast substitute, yea? WE haven't it here. Is it used to make beer? Thanks for chiming in. Like Papa H, I am unique in my penmanship, too.

Wow. You read much more than I ever did. King I could read depending on what he wrote. Tik Tok was the worst. Oh. That was Patterson. I like Evans, and Sparks. and for poetry Wordsworth. Updike was worthy of my time as well. You a swell pal for reading me. Thank you

Well, I am pretty stupid and didn't get all of that, but I know at least about travels with Charlie and, of course, Kokomo. And, of course, I enjoyed reading your work. I knew that Kokomo wasn't a place. Evi

It was a challenge where I was only to be speaking in the second person (YOU) and so I took what was written in the first person and spoke to me (as you) and it was a trial that I hope would be passable and literate. Maybe not. Thanks for trying.

I enjoyed your "you" story and hope you do well in the contest. I also enjoyed all the name-dropping. One person told me they didn't like script fonts, so I don't use them as much, but your photo and fonts worked together well.

Thanks. As for the fonts Fanstory offers, there are limited favorites I select and many of the cursives fail as the tails are minimized or disappear below the line which is a shame for many of my writings are historically based in the mid-centuries. Thanks Jim for visiting
