You Are My Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day
the sparkle in your eyes
outshines the shimmering stars

as the romantic moon bathes
in wavering amber light

and the howling wolves
herald the coming dawn


the handsome willow trees
dance with the wind

shaking their love-laden branches
salaciously dipping into the stream

and where the mountains meet the sky
I'll look for you, my Valentine
